Battery storage technologies accelerate the transition to Net-Zero emission, renewable energy, and Electric vehicle. Battery storage devices will become increasingly important in balancing green energy supplies and meeting electricity demands.
A proper battery technology is still a challenge and huge research is ongoing. Existing methods from the battery industry and academic strategies provide a sufficient battery testing procedure. However, they are not designed with the entire design cycle and value chain in mind, resulting in lengthy testing, cyclization durations and catching fire.
This project (BEST) aims to implement Digitalised Enclosures (DE) and software simulation tool (BEST tool), twin model and Pinta in an effort to improve battery research, design, battery assessment, quality, and lifespan, as well as to accelerate battery development time.
Another objective is to reduce the amount of time, money, and energy spent on testing and experiential learning.
Figure 2 illustrates how the BEST tool can predict and correct the battery management in advance.
Through the application of artificial intelligence (AI), digitalised tools, and stringent testing techniques, the work will result in safer, & less expensive batteries. Which will eventually increase the market in electric motorcycle, passenger segment, cargo, and Aero-Drone-Taxi
